Ahead of beginning their league phase of the UEFA Europa League next week, Sunderland have collected four points from their opening three games in the Premier League. Following their promotion via the Championship play-offs last season, Hull City brought in 18 new signings over the summer and The Tigers have started their season with two victories and a draw, without conceding in the Premier League, including a famous 2-0 defeat of Manchester United on the opening weekend.
Hull are obdurate and clearly now have a lot of depth, while Sunderland will be focused on rotation ahead of Europe so perhaps siding with the visitors is a good value bet for this one on Wearside.
