Sheriff Tiraspol eventually ended up as runners’ up in Moldova last season. They went through the entire season unbeaten but somehow slipped below Milsami Orhei in the championship round. The Moldovans are looking to put things right and they were emphatic in a 4-0 demolition of Prishtina in the first qualifying round of this competition earlier this month, before suffering a 2-1 loss in the second-leg with a rotated side.

FC Utrecht, coached by Ron Jans, finished in an impressive fourth position in the Eredivisie last season. It is their first season in UEFA competition in six years, since losing to Zrinjski Mostar in the second qualifying round of the 2019/20 UEFA Europa League.

Utrecht proved themselves to be entertaining domestically last season, and Sheriff are always on the attack, so both teams scoring would appear a good bet for this one.
