Shakhtar Donetsk vs Besiktas prediction

This match is being played at the neutral venue Stadion Miejski im. Henryka Reymana at Krakow in Poland, due to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine forcing Shakhtar Donetsk to play away from home.

The first-leg of this tie in Istanbul was an entertaining one at the Vodafone Arena with Besiktas suffering a 4-2 loss at home to Shakhtar. Alisson gave Shakhtar a seventh minute lead before Eguinaldo made it 2-0 in the 28th minute. Tammy Abraham brought a goal back for the Turks before the break, but Kevin scored a late brace for the Ukrainians either side of a Joao Mario goal.

Shakhtar underperformed with a third place finish in the Ukrainian Premier League, whilst Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under pressure in Turkey at Besiktas ahead of what should be another entertaining encounter in this second-leg.

Shakhtar Donetsk vs Besiktas tip: Over 2.5 goals
