Senegal vs Burundi Prediction

With Senegal looking to evolve their squad with the introduction of some exciting young players into an experienced spine, the Lions of Teranga have been very impressive in qualification.

In typical Aliou Cisse style, the Senegalese have been defensively solid with one goal conceded in their five matches which has produced four victories and a draw. They most recently defeated Burkina Faso by a goal to nil in Mali the other day.

Burundi have made a habit of being fun to watch over the last couple of years and their five matches have produced 13 goals, despite their most recent outing being a goalless draw against Malawi in Abidjan on Friday.

This game is being played in Dakar but home advantage is not something Senegal should rely upon to ease to a comfortable victory in what is a lobsided match-up on paper.

Senegal vs Burundi Tip: Senegal to win -1 handicap
