Colombia responded excellently to falling behind early on against Costa Rica, coming back to win by three goals to one. They were in control through most of the game, registering 16 shots compared to the opponents’ five and head coach Carlos Alberto Quintero may well be disappointed that his side didn’t win by a bigger margin.
Portugal were taken down 2-0 by DPR Korea, a nation notoriously strong when it comes to the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. Their backline is set for another big test here but having settled into the tournament, this Portuguese team will be a tough nut to crack. Colombia’s lack of cutting edge last time out makes it a safer option to back them to win via the draw no bet market, rather than outright.
