Saudi Arabia vs Jordan prediction

Saudi Arabia sacked Roberto Mancini towards the back end of last year and replaced him with former boss Renard, who oversaw their defeat of eventual world champions Argentina in the group stages of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. They have some crucial qualifiers coming up to try and ensure they get themselves a spot at the expanded 48-team 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Jordan also have their own crucial qualifiers with two games to go in the third round of AFC qualification for the tournament, sitting second and in an automatic qualification spot a point ahead of Iraq and three ahead of Oman. They most recently held South Korea to a 1-1 draw in the Korean capital of Seoul in March.

Jordan are a stubborn opponent and, even if Saudi Arabia do click again under Renard, they will do so by being defensively resilient and with a safety-first approach so a low-scoring affair is to be expected.

Saudi Arabia vs Jordan tip: Under 2.5 goals
