Sao Paulo, under the management of Luis Zubeldia, come into this one on the back of a 2-0 loss at home to Mirassol in the Brazilian Serie A at the weekend. They now face a Talleres de Cordoba side that most recently defeated Alianza Lima by two goals to nil a few weeks ago to mean they are above the Peruvians as they chase a third place finish and potential CONMEBOL Copa Sudamericana knockout football later this season.
