Key stats

  • San Marino have lost all but two of their previous 80 World Cup qualifying matches (D 0-0 vs Türkiye 1993 and D 1-1 vs Latvia 2001).
  • Bosnia and Herzegovina have won the previous three international matches between these teams (all in World Cup qualifying).
  • Bosnia and Herzegovina have started a World Cup qualifying campaign with three successive wins for the first time.

San Marino vs Bosnia-Herzegovina prediction

Despite the fact that San Marino have improved as a side, having gained promotion League C of the UEFA Nations League last autumn. However, the Sammarinese have started Group H of UEFA’s qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup with four successive defeats thus far.

They face a Bosnia-Herzegovina side that have surprised a few by winning three out of three in their qualifying campaign, sitting ahead of Austria, albeit they have a game-in-hand. This is a brilliant opportunity for the Bosnians, still captained by Edin Dzeko, with an excellent chance to keep the pressure on the Austrians.

San Marino have moved themselves off bottom spot in the FIFA rankings but should still remain pointless in qualification, and the Bosnians are firm favourites for a comfortable victory.

San Marino vs Bosnia-Herzegovina tip: Bosnia-Herzegovina to win -1 handicap
