It has been a poor start for both Rotherham United and Exeter City, and both sides will be concerned that they could be dragged into the relegation battle this season.

Rotherham vs Exeter prediction

Rotherham United have managed just one win in their opening five matches this season, and that came on the opening day of the campaign against newly-promoted Port Vale at the New York Stadium. The Millers most recently suffered a 1-0 defeat to ten-man Bolton Wanderers in the group stages of the EFL Trophy in midweek.

Exeter City have started with three victories and three defeats in their six matches, but they are reliant on home advantage and their performance level has not been positive. Gary Caldwell’s Grecians did manage to hammer a very poor Peterborough United side at St James Park last weekend.

Exeter going away from home will always be a concern for their supporters, and therefore siding with Rotherham would appear the best way to go for this one.

Rotherham vs Exeter tip: Double chance – Rotherham to win or draw
