The final two teams to have a 100% record in Serie A so far this season now face off on the final weekend before the international break as Roma take on Internazionale.

Kick-off date/time:

How to watch on TV: UK – TNT Sports & DAZN / USA – Paramount+ & DAZN

How to watch online: UK – HBO Max & DAZN / USA – Paramount+ & DAZN

Roma preview: Brilliant Romans

Former Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini is in his second season in charge of a Roma side that have performed extremely well thus far with the Giallorossi having won four out of four, with Netherlands international striker Donyell Malen the league’s top scorer.

Malen got his sixth goal of the campaign last weekend as the Romans impressively defeated Torino by two goals to nil in Turin last weekend, with Nicolo Pisilli clinching three points late on for the capital city outfit.

Inter Milan preview: Defending the title

Defending champions Internazionale earned their fourth win of the campaign in entertaining fashion last week as they came from 2-0 down to defeat Udinese by five goals to three at San Siro last weekend.

The Nerazzurri also needed to come from two down to defeat Napoli the week before, having been relatively unconvincing by their own standards in victories against Monza and Cagliari in August.

Roma team news: Ndicka a doubt

Former Bayer Leverkusen defender Evan Ndicka missed Roma’s trip to Turin due to illness and so he has to be viewed as a doubt, albeit with plenty of time to recover.

Predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Svilar; Mancini, Balerdi, Mario Hermoso; Lulli, Cristante, Pisilli, Nahuel Molina; Matias Soule, Dybala Malen

Unavailable: Bah (Injured)

Questionable: Ndicka (Illness)

Inter Milan team news: Fresh injuries

Inter have some fresh injury issues for the trip to the capital city as Hakan Calhanoglu is now a confirmed absentee with England international centre-back John Stones also a doubt.

Predicted XI (3-5-2): Josep Martinez; Akanji, Pavard, Bastoni; Diouf, Barella, Zielinski, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Esposito, L. Martinez

Unavailable: Spence (Injured), Calhanoglu (Injured)

Questionable: Stones (Injured)

Roma vs Inter Milan prediction

Inter have won four from four but haven’t been as convincing as their fellow 100%-ers. Yet, as Inter have shown in their last two games against Napoli and Udinese, they really are the epitome of a team that always finds a way. They will be content with getting out of Rome without losing and Roma may well see it the same way and so a lower-scoring encounter may well be a decent bet for this one at the Stadio Olimpico in Serie A’s marquee showdown this weekend.

Roma vs Inter Milan tip: Under 2.5 goals
