RFS vs KuPS prediction
So far during their European campaign, Rigas Futbola Skola have suffered a defeat and earned themselves a victory. In the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, the Latvians defeated Levadia Tallinn by two goals to nil on aggregate before then they suffered a 5-1 aggregate loss to Swedish giants Malmo.
They now face a Kuopion Palloseura side that, as Finnish champions, began their European season with a slender 1-0 defeat of Milsami Orhei over two legs in early July. That was followed by taking a 2-0 lead against Kairat in the first-leg of their second qualifying round tie, before succumbing to a 3-0 loss in Kazakhstan.
Both RFS and KuPS have built their domestic success on strong defensive records, and that is what they have attempted to take into Europe, so a low-scoring encounter is likely.
