Punjab sit firmly in the middle-of-the-table after five games of their 2026 Indian Super League season as they now take on rock-bottom and pointless Mohammedan.

Punjab vs Mohammedan prediction

Punjab began the season with a defeat but they have now enjoyed a four-match unbeaten run of form with their most recent outing seeing them defeat the Kerala Blasters by three goals to one a couple of weeks ago before the international break.

Mohammedan, on the other hand, sit rock-bottom in India, as the only team yet to collect a point thus far. Their most recent outing saw them go down to ten men and be dispatched 7-0 by East Bengal a fortnight ago.

Mohammedan are a very poor side and already appear destined for a hard struggle with a comfortable Punjab victory, especially with their home advantage, to be decided with this one.
