Portugal vs Belgium prediction
Portuguese women’s football is beginning to show signs of major improvement and a quarter-final appearance would aid that cause, but it would require a major goal difference swing in this tournament after they suffered a 5-0 loss to Spain in their opener before sharing a draw with Italy the other day.
They now face a Belgium side that have come into the 2025 UEFA Women’s Championship and lasted about a week after an underwhelming opening couple of matches. After being beaten 1-0 by Italy in their first game, they then suffered a 6-2 annihilation at the hands of Spain a few days’ later.
Belgium may well want to restore some pride and Portugal have a couple of key issues in terms of availability, but a Portugal win remains the likeliest outcome for this one.
