Rennes vs Le Mans prediction
After the appointment of Franck Haise in the second half of last season, Rennes were much-improved and look set to challenge for the UEFA Champions League spots this season. They began well against Paris Saint-Germain last week, going 2-0 up before a second half brace scored by Ferran Torres rescued a point for the Parisians.
Le Mans gained promotion back to the top-flight last season as runners’ up. Their summer transfer window began to pick up in the build up their opener and they performed well last weekend as they shared an entertaining and topsy turvy 2-2 draw with Stade Brest at home.
Le Mans will again be plucky here and get after Rennes but the hosts remain the overwhelming favourites to back up last week’s strong performance.
