Fenerbahce preview: Hammered last week
After beginning their return to the UEFA Champions League with a 1-1 draw against Roma last month, Fenerbahce now head into this one on the back of being hammered 6-0 by Aston Villa at Villa Park last week.
Back in the league or group phase of the UEFA Champions League for the first time since the 2008-09 campaign, their big spending and recognisable squad really could do with showing a reaction this midweek.
Slavia Prague preview: Beaten Slavia
Czech champions Slavia Prague were comfortably beaten in surprising fashion by Azeri champions Sabah last week, losing 2-0 in Baku due to goals scored by Kaheem Parris and Joy-Lance Mickels.
Slavia have since gone on to share a frustrating goalless draw with Hradec Kralove, having started their campaign in this competition with a dramatic 3-2 defeat to Lens last month in a game in which they had led 2-1 late on.
Fenerbahce team news: A few injuries
Fenerbahce continue to be without longer-term injured defenders Jayden Oosterwolde and full-back Mert Muldur, with former Real Madrid man Marco Asensio also unavailable for the foreseeable.
Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Ederson; Semedo, Skriniar, Ake, Brown; Yuksek, Kante; Greenwood, Kahveci, Nene; Muriqi
Unavailable: Oosterwolde (Injured), Muldur (Injured), Asensio (Injured)

Slavia Prague team news: Konecny returns
Slavia Prague defender Mikulas Konecny has returned from suspension for this one but Stefan Chaloupek is unavailable with Ivan Schranz battling back from illness, which saw him miss last week’s trip to Azerbaijan.
Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Markovic; Holes, Zima, Konecny, Vleck; Moses, Sadilek; Ayaosi, Provod, Sturm; Chory
Unavailable: Chaloupek (Injured), Ouanda (Injured), Pitak (Injured), Jurasek (Injured)
Questionable: Schranz (Illness), Kacor (Injured)
Fenerbahce vs Slavia Prague prediction
Fenerbahce boss Ismail Kartal had enjoyed a generally positive run of form after a difficult start to the Super Lig season amid qualifying matches in this competition against Gornik Zabrze, Sturm Graz and Olympique Lyonnais. They really could do with putting in a much-improved performance here, albeit that may leave them susceptible with an already fairly porous back-line, as was exposed in Birmingham last week.
Fenerbahce vs Slavia Prague Tip: Fenerbahce to win & both teams to score
