Whilst the first T20i between these two nations was competitive, the second game certainly was not. Pakistan stepped up a gear in all departments and blew away Sri Lanka with an 82-run victory. We’ve spoken at length about Sri Lanka’s struggles in T20i cricket and they aren’t showing any signs of going away.
Pakistan though, appear to be gaining more and more confidence by the game. They are hitting the ball well and the bowling was excellent in the second T20i. Don’t expect them to slow down with the series secured, as the hosts will want to make a statement. Back them to do just that by sealing a sweep.
