Oxford United vs Reading prediction

Reading are starting to really heat up, having picked up seven points from the last nine available to them and back-to-back wins has them knocking on the door of the top six. Momentum is always worth its weight in gold when it comes to the EFL with such a punishing schedule and the Royals travel to Reading confident of another positive result.

It’s been an inconsistent campaign so far for newly relegated Oxford United, winning two, losing one and drawing on the opening weekend. They can beat anyone on their day, as demonstrated by their 0-4 thumping of Leicester City this past weekend. But Reading will make it a lot tougher for them to come out on top and are likely to try and take the sting out of this game early on. When taking that into account, it would be no surprise if this one ultimately petered out into a draw.

Oxford United vs Reading tip: Draw
