Olimpija vs Larne Prediction

It's been an excellent season so far for Olimpija, and their European form reflects that with the Slovenian side having won two of their three games in the league phase after coming through three rounds of qualifying to make it to this stage.

They began the league phase with a late defeat at Heidenheim but have responded with a pair of 2-0 victories over LASK (home) and HJK (away). Overall this season, the Slovenian league leaders have lost just two of their 27 contests across all competitions.

It's been a tough European campaign so far for Northern Ireland's Larne, who began all the way back in the first qualifying round of the Champions League in early July. Having lost to Riga FS there, they overcame Lincoln Red Imps in the Conference League play-off to make it to the league phase, but have lost all three games since.

Their league form has suffered greatly too, and interim boss Gary Haveron will take charge for the final time before recently-appointed Nathan Rooney moves into the hotseat.

Larne, who already look out of their depth in Europe, haven't exactly had ideal preparations for this match with a string of weather-enforced postponement domestically coupled with the fact that they have barely been able to train since arriving in Slovenia, with capital city Ljubljana also falling prey to the elements recently. With these factors in mind, consider backing a handsome win for the hosts.

Olimpija vs Larne Tip: Olimpija Ljubljana to win by four or more goals
