Key Stats

  • Namibia are unbeaten so far in the current World Cup qualifying campaign (W3 D3 *includes 3-0 awarded victory vs Equatorial Guinea).
  • Malawi have lost eight of their last ten World Cup qualifying matches (W2).

Namibia vs Malawi Prediction

In the opening six games of Group H of qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with Namibia on 12 points having gone unbeaten with three victories and three draws. They sit four points behind group leaders Tunisia but they are set to get their playoff spot. They now face a Malawi side that come into this one on the back of managing two victories and four defeats in their six games as their elimination from qualification is on the verge of being mathematically confirmed.

Namibia have been improving for a while, as shown by reaching the knockout stages of the 2023 CAF Africa Cup of Nations at the beginning of 2024, with a reactive style of football.

This match is being played at Francistown Stadum in Botswana but, even without that home advantage, Namibia remain firm favourites to grind their way past Malawi here.

Namibia vs Malawi Tip: Namibia to win & under 3.5 goals
