Millwall vs Dagenham & Redbridge Prediction

We have a south London derby to round off the 2024/25 FA Cup third round with Championship Millwall welcoming one of the two non-league sides left in the competition in National League outfit Dagenham and Redbridge.

Millwall, who have just appointed former Preston North End manager Alex Neil to replace Neil Harris this week, come into this one sitting firmly in the middle-of-the-table in the second-tier. The Lions most recently shared a 2-2 draw with Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough to mean they have managed just one win in their last 11 matches in the league.

Dagenham and Redbridge come into this one on the back of a 1-1 draw with promotion chasing Forest Green Rovers in midweek in a game in which they conceded a 95th minute equaliser. The Daggers have been pretty inconsistent of late and they sit firmly in the bottom-half in the National League.

Millwall aren’t a free scoring side and Alex Neil isn’t an overly attacking coach so whilst the hosts are favourites, a low-scoring affair seems most likely for this one at The Den.

Millwall vs Dagenham & Redbridge Tip: Millwall to win & under 3.5 goals
