They had started the season well but the Victorians are now winless in their last six matches, although they have remained entertaining with their last three games consisting of 16 goals. They now face a Sydney side that had recently returned to form, which included a 3-0 defeat of Melbourne Victory in the reverse fixture between these two sides, but they most recently suffered a thrilling 4-3 loss to Brisbane Roar last week in which they were 4-1 down in the closing stages.
