How to watch on TV: UK – Not televised / US – Not televised

How to watch online: UK – FIFA+ / US – FIFA+

Key Stats

  • Mauritania are without a win in their last 14 World Cup qualifying matches (D4 L10). Since a 4-0 victory against South Sudan in October 2015.
  • Mauritania have won only two of their previous 30 World Cup qualifying matches (D7 L21).
  • Togo are without a win in their last six World Cup qualifying matches (D4 L2). Despite this, they have still lost only two of their last ten FWCQ matches (W2 D6).

Mauritania vs Togo Prediction

In their six matches in Group B’s CAF qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Mauritania have collected just two points with four defeats as they sit 11 behind leaders, the Democratic Republic of Congo.

As well as Mauritania and South Sudan, Togo are also more or less out of contention, even eight points behind second place and a potential playoff berth with just four games to go.

All three of those teams are winless, and Mauritania and Togo have combined to score just six goals between them, with both sides set to play for a bit of pride in the next couple of months.

Togo head across to Mauritania seeking to restore some pride, but both sides lack any sort of quality and a low-scoring encounter is to be expected at the Nouadhibou Olympic Stadium.

Mauritania vs Togo Tip: Under 2.5 goals
