Lorenzo Musetti vs Hubert Hurkacz prediction

Lorenzo Musetti comes into the Paris Masters in fine form, having won the Lyon Open just over a week ago, when he beat Taylor Fritz in the final, and the 24-year-old Italian has been playing some fine tennis of late.

He played in Vienna last week, picking up a win over Frances Tiafoe before being eliminated in three sets by Arthur Fery, but that lighter week will no doubt have helped his preparations for Paris.

He takes on Hubert Hurkacz, who has been playing some good tennis himself in recent weeks, including a run to the final of the Chengdu Open a month ago, where he lost to Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.

Hurkacz played at the Swiss Indoors in Basel last week, picking up a win over Zizou Bergs before being eliminated in a close-fought match with Holger Rune.

The duo have met five times before, including once in 2026, when Musetti won on clay at the ATP Masters 1000 event in Madrid. Hurkacz’s two wins against Musetti have both come on grass, while Musetti has won on clay and hard courts.
