Andrey Rublev vs Tomas Martin Etcheverry prediction

A semi-finalist in 2023, Andrey Rublev comes into the 2026 Paris Masters in relatively poor form by his standards, as victories have been very hard to come by in recent weeks.

He reached the final of the Hangzhou Open just over a month ago before losing to Daniil Medvedev, and then made it to the quarter-finals of the China Open, where he lost to Alex de Minaur. He has followed that up, however, with defeats in his opening matches at his last three tournaments.

He will be hoping to get back on the winning trail in Paris as he takes on Argentina’s Tomas Martin Etcheverry, who enjoyed a strong first half of 2026 in what has arguably been his most consistent year on the ATP Tour.

Like Rublev, however, he has found victories hard to come by, losing his opening singles match at each of his last five tournaments, and the 27-year-old Argentine is going to have to raise his game if he is to get anything out of this one.

With neither player in much form, it is very hard to have confidence in either of them, but we have to side with Rublev given the good runs he put together just over a month ago, and the Russian should be able to get back to winning ways here.
