Lincoln vs Wigan prediction

Coached by Michael Skubala, Lincoln City have been steadily building in recent seasons and they will be expected to push for the top six this time around. The Imps come into this one on the back of a five-match unbeaten run of form across all competitions, most recently hammering Notts County in the EFL Trophy in midweek.

Ryan Lowe came into Wigan Athletic mid-way through the second-half of last season, and the former Plymouth Argyle boss is expected to propel the Latics towards the top six. They have started the season reasonably well with two victories, two draws and two defeats in their opening six matches.

Wigan have started to play a bit more on the front foot, but Lincoln are a team that are very difficult to beat and, with home advantage, they will be slight favourites.

Lincoln vs Wigan tip: Double chance – Lincoln to win or draw
