Richie Wellens’ Leyton Orient have overhauled their squad to challenge once again this season. The O’s come into this one on the back of a 1-1 draw with Luton Town at Kenilworth Road at the weekend, backing up a 5-0 demolition of Bromley last week with star summer signing Jaze Kabia scoring his first goals for the club in that game.
Bradford City again look set to be strong as they were last year and produced an upset in the second round as they defeated Burnley on penalties. Graham Alexander’s Bantams head into this one on the back of a 1-0 defeat of Mansfield Town at Valley Parade the other day, recovering from back-to-back losses against Cambridge United and Plymouth Argyle.
Bradford will hope they have got themselves back on track but home advantage for Orient should give them the slight edge at Brisbane Road in East London.
