Legia Warsaw vs Banik Ostrava prediction

Legia Warsaw come into this one on the back of a comfortable 2-0 defeat of Korona Kielce in the Polish Ekstraklasa at the weekend. That was their opening day of their domestic campaign, whilst Banik Ostrava began their Czech First League campaign with a loss to Bohemians 1905.

In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa League second qualifying round tie, Legia Warsaw and Banik Ostrava shared a 2-2 draw at the Mestsky Stadion in Czechia. Banik took a 13th minute lead in that game via Matej Sin before Bartosz Kapustka’s equaliser about 20 minutes later. Banik then retook the lead in the second-half via Martyn Frydrych, but Legia managed to get themselves another equaliser late on from Julian Nsame.

Legia will believe they can get themselves on the front foot against Banik this week, and they are the slight favourites to progress into the third qualifying round at home.

Legia Warsaw vs Banik Ostrava tip: Double chance – Legia Warsaw to win or draw
