They now face a Seattle Sounders side that managed to entertainingly defeat Sporting Kansas City by five goals to two at the weekend after a penalty shootout victory over Puebla in the Leagues Cup. Seattle have experienced an extremely busy few months, which included a group stage exit at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Seattle Sounders are expected to be, as ever, open and entertaining, but the form of LA Galaxy should mark them out as slight surprise favourites in California this midweek.
