Defending African champions Ivory Coast are actually second in their group having lost two of their five matches. They will want to finish with a flourish against a poor Chad side.

Ivory Coast vs Chad Prediction

After a miracle to win the 2023 CAF Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year, Ivory Coast have endured something of a frustrating qualifying campaign for the 2025 tournament.

Les Elephants, coached by Emerse Fae, have qualified for Morocco but will be left frustrated with two draws in their opening five matches and they were beaten 1-0 by Zambia at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola the other night.

Chad, though, are one of the weaker sides in the second round of AFCON qualification and remain one of the few winless sides after five matches, collecting two points thus far. One of those came the other day in a 1-1 draw against Sierra Leone.

Chad have been playing their home games in Abidjan so won’t feel too out of place but this should be a comfortable Ivorian win as they try to get back on track.

Ivory Coast vs Chad Tip: Ivory Coast to win -1 handicap
