Internacional, coached by Roger Machado, most recently shared a 1-1 draw with Sport at Ilha do Retiro the other day. They have managed just two victories in their last seven matches across all competitions. They begin the final match day of their group stage campaign sitting second in the group, a point ahead of Bahia and a point behind Atletico Nacional.

Bahia had begun the 2025 CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores group stage campaign extremely well but they have suffered back-to-back defeats ahead of this one. They did, though, most recently suffer a 1-0 loss to Internacional’s arch-rivals Gremio at Arena do Gremio the other day in Porto do Alegre due to a 61st minute winner scored by Martin Braithwaite.

Internacional will fancy their chances of securing a top two table, especially with their home advantage, but it is expected to be a tense and nervy encounter with few clear chances.
