Inter Miami have endured a horrible run of form of late as they prepare for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. They welcome Canadian franchise Montreal down to Florida this midweek.

Inter Miami come into this one on the back of a much-needed comeback as they came from 2-0 and 3-1 down against Philadelphia Union to earn themselves a 3-3 draw at Subaru Park with Lionel Messi scoring an 87th minute. They have now, though, managed just three victories in their last 12 matches across all competitions.

They now face a Montreal side that have managed just one victory in their 15 2025 Major League Soccer Eastern Conference matches this season. The Canadians most recently did earn themselves a surprise 2-2 draw with Los Angeles FC at the weekend but they will be frustrated, having taken a 2-0 lead inside 22 minutes of that match.

Despite the poor form of Javier Mascherano’s Inter Miami, they will be expected to get themselves a win here, especially with home advantage at the Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.
