Independiente del Valle vs Flamengo prediction

Independiente del Valle come into this one on the back of a 3-1 defeat of Macara to maintain their position at the top of the Ecuadorean LigaPro. The home team eased to a comfortable 4-1 aggregate defeat of Deportes Tolima in the round of 16 last month.

Despite the departure of Filipe Luis earlier this year, Flamengo have remained extremely strong as they sit at the top-of-the-table in the Brazilian Serie A. The Rio de Janeiro-based outfit most recently edged past Remo by a goal to nil at the weekend, courtesy of a strike from former Atletico Madrid man Samuel Lino mid-way through the second half.

Flamengo have now lost one of their last 11 matches across all competitions since returning from FIFA World Cup 2026 and so are the team to be sided with here, even away from home.

Independiente del Valle vs Flamengo tip: Double chance – Flamengo to win or draw
