Co-hosts Canada qualified automatically and are set for their third FIFA World Cup™ appearance, marking the first time they will feature in back-to-back editions after ending a 36-year absence at Qatar 2022.
In both of their previous instalments, Canada were eliminated after the group stage, suffering three defeats from three matches each time.
Alphonso Davies, a seven-time Bundesliga champion with German giants Bayern Munich, made history at Qatar 2022 by scoring Canada’s first-ever World Cup™ goal just 68 seconds into their match against Croatia.
Canada will begin their FIFA World Cup 26™ campaign in Toronto on 12 June 2026, with their following two group fixtures to be played in Vancouver on 18 June and 24 June.
