Ferencvaros vs Twente prediction
In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa League second qualifying round tie, Ferencvaros managed to defeat Twente by two goals to one at De Grolsch Veste in the Netherlands last week. Lenny Joseph scored a brace for the Hungarians either side of a 38th minute equaliser scored by Danish defender Aske Adelgaard for the Dutch.
Ferencvaros missed out on the Hungarian title last season to ETO Gyori but they have since parted company with manager Robbie Keane as they seek to improve. FC Twente did make the league phase of the UEFA Europa League in the 2023-24 campaign but that is the only time they have made it through qualifying in a UEFA competition since the 2010-11 season.
Twente will believe they can throw some punches against a defensively fallible Ferencvaros side but the hosts are firm favourites in Budapest.
