El Salvador vs Guatemala prediction
El Salvador currently sit third in Group F of the second round of CONCACAF qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup with four points collected from two matches, whilst Guatemala are sitting above Jamaica at the top of Group E on goal difference.
Qualification resumes next week and both sides will fancy their chances of getting through to the third round. El Salvador most recently shared a 1-1 draw with Liga MX side Pachuca during the March international break after losing to MLS outfit Houston Dynamo. Guatemala, on the other hand, pulled off a turnaround to defeat Guyana by four goals to three on aggregate in the preliminary round of CONCACAF Gold Cup qualification.
El Salvador have a chance of getting past Suriname and Puerto Rico in their group next week but Guatemala do appear the stronger side and siding with them would appear the value bet.
