Daejeon Hana come into this one on the back of an entertaining 2-2 draw with the Pohang Steelers at the weekend. They have won ten, drawn nine and lost ten as they sit, naturally, firmly in the middle-of-the-table in the K League.
Kyoto Sanga succumbed to an entertaining 3-2 loss at home to Kashiwa Reysol in their most recent outing the other day. That has continued their poor start to the domestic season with one win and two draws in their seven matches thus far.
Daejeon Hana will have to be viewed as the firm favourites despite their inconsistency, especially with their home advantage at the Daejeon World Cup Stadium.
