Czechia vs Saudi Arabia prediction

Czechia come into this one on the back of a comfortable 2-0 defeat of Montenegro in Podgorica the other day, courtesy of goals from Lukas Cerv and Vaclav Cerny. They have started their group stage campaign well, but after a 5-1 loss to Croatia in June, they are expected to miss out on automatic qualification for the tournament.

They face a Saudi Arabia side that have improved following the return of former France women’s boss Herve Renard, who has replaced Roberto Mancini, but the Green Falcons still missed out on automatic qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in June, and are preparing for the fourth round repechage of AFC qualification next month.

The Saudi Arabians will seek to continue their defensive style of football, back with Renard in charge, and a low-scoring affair is to be expected, even with the Czechs marked up as favourites.

Czechia vs Saudi Arabia tip: Czechia to win & under 3.5 goals
