Crystal Palace finally take their place in the Europa League after being dropped down into the Conference League controversially last season in favour of Nottingham Forest. You could argue that it worked in the Eagles favour though, after they went on to win the tournament in Leipzig under Oliver Glasner, who has since left the club.
Now with former Lens head coach Pierre Sage in charge, Palace look to make more European history and they’ve been dealt a winnable start in the league phase against Lech Poznan. The hosts should dominate much of this game and boast not only a very good starting line-up, but plenty of impressive options off the bench should Lech Poznan prove tricky to navigate. Expect a comprehensive home win by at least two clear goals.
