Celje vs AEK Larnakas prediction

Coached by former Liverpool winger and former Olimpija Ljubljana boss Albert Riera, Celje have started to play some good football and their European pedigree is becoming improved as the Slovenians managed to reach the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa Conference League last season before a defeat to Fiorentina.

They now face an AEK Larnakas side that are seeking to continue the relative success and progression of Cypriot clubs in UEFA competition. Imanol Idiakez’ Larnaca Guardians, as they are nicknamed, were knocked out in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League last year, losing to Hungarian side Paksi.

Celje and AEK Larnakas both play quite an entertaining and easy on the eye style of football, and so both teams scoring would appear a good bet for this one in Slovenia.
