Burundi vs Malawi Prediction

In a tough group for CAF Africa Cup of Nations qualification, both Burkina Faso and Senegal have already qualified with Burundi and Malawi already eliminated at this stage.

Burundi, coached by Etienne Ndayiragije, started their campaign with a 3-2 victory against Malawi in the reverse fixture before 1-0 defeats to Senegal sandwiched a 2-0 loss to the Burkina Faso in Abidjan in the Ivory Coast during the October international break.

After Malawi’s 3-2 defeat at home to Burundi in their opening encounter, the Malawians then suffered three more losses over the previous autumn international breaks against Senegal and the Burkina Faso. They have conceded 11 goals in their four matches.

This one would appear quite an even contest on paper but there is a clear favourite for this one, even on neutral territory, with Burundi the expected winners of this one.
