Brest preview: Steady Brest
Following the passing of coach Eric Roy over the summer, his assistant coach Julien Lachuer is now at the helm. He has continued on from the work Roy did with Brest again performing above expectations so far this season.
They defeated Le Havre by two goals to one at Stade Oceane last weekend to ensure that Brest have remained unbeaten with five points collected from their three matches in Ligue 1 so far this season.
Paris Saint-Germain preview: Struggling domestically
In Europe, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Aston Villa in the UEFA Super Cup last month and the Parisians began the hunt for a third successive UEFA Champions League trophy with a 6-1 demolition of Slovan Bratislava in the league phase in midweek.
PSG have struggled domestically, though. The champions lost to Lens in the Trophee des Champions before starting their Ligue 1 season by coming from 2-0 down to share draws with Stade Rennais and Lille ahead of a 2-1 loss at home to Monaco last week.
Brest team news: Fresh doubts
Brest have some fresh injury doubts for this weekend as both Kenny Lala and Mamady Diambou are potentially sidelined with Brendan Chardonnet working his way back to full fitness.

Brest are awkward opposition and they have made themselves difficult to beat in the last few seasons. However, as they evolved last year, they have again become more attacking this time around, too. PSG will seek to punish that as Luis Enrique’s side become a little concerned about their start. PSG will be favourites but Brest will be competitive at Stade Francis-le Ble.
