Bolivia vs Suriname prediction
Bolivia squeezed themselves into seventh place in CONMEBOL qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup to set themselves up for the playoffs on the final match day in South America with a dramatic 1-0 defeat of Brazil. Since then, they have beaten Jordan and then endured a six-match winless run before defeating Trinidad and Tobago.
Suriname were difficult to beat in CONCACAF qualification but eventually succumbed to a 3-1 defeat to Guatemala in Guatemala City to be condemned to the playoffs behind a strong Panama side. Prior to that final match day defeat to the Guatemalans, the Surinamese were unbeaten in six matches.
Bolivia haven’t been at a FIFA World Cup since 1984, while Suriname would be debutants. Nerves are expected to take over both sides and that should lead to a low-scoring semi-final.
