They now face a Cerro Porteno side that extended their unbeaten run of form to five matches across all competitions with a 1-1 draw against 2 de Mayo the other day.
Bolivar, as mentioned, sit rock-bottom in Group G but a victory and a Sporting Cristal loss to Palmeiras would see them finish third in the groups. They face a Cerro Porteno side that are currently second, also reliant on a Palmeiras victory against Cristal.
There is a chance that both sides are celebrating come the end of this game but, with their home advantage in La Paz, siding with Bolivar may well be a good value bet for this one.
