Blackburn vs Wolves Prediction

John Eustace has his Blackburn Rovers side sitting fifth in the second-tier but only a point clear of seventh, whilst Wolverhampton Wanderers are battling against relegation in the top-flight.

Blackburn come into this one on the back of a frustrating dip in form, which does tend to be a pattern of the Lancastrian club in recent seasons at this time of year. Their 2-1 defeat at Loftus Road against Queens Park Rangers in midweek means they have now suffered four defeats in their last five league games and they have won just two of their last 11.

They now face a Wolves side that, following the appointment of Vitor Pereira in December, the visitors most recently produced an impressive performance and result at Molineux against midlands rivals Aston Villa last weekend, defeating the Villains by two goals to nil. That win ended a four-match losing streak for the visitors.

Wolves didn’t rotate too heavily as they defeated Bristol City at Ashton Gate last month. Blackburn have been resilient defensively and won enough games by fine margins to challenge so, whilst Wolves may well come out on top, it is expected to be a low-scoring affair.

Blackburn vs Wolves Tip: Under 3.5 goals
