Hugely impressive in reaching the Women's Champions League semi-finals last season, hopes are high in the Bayern camp this year with the German champions boasting talent all over the pitch.
It took eventual winners Barcelona to stop Jose Barcala's side last season, and they have made a perfect start to their current domestic campaign with five wins from five in the Frauen-Bundesliga.
After missing out on the league phase in 2024/25, Man City return to the European stage after clinching the Women's Super League title last term, and they too have made a 100% start to their 2026-27 league commitments with three wins from three to date.
This is surprisingly the first ever UEFA meeting between the sides, and both will be eager to lay down a marker as the beginning of the league phase. With the likes of Pernille Harder, Klara Buhl and Khadija Shaw on the pitch, it would be a surprise if there weren't a few goals in this one.
