Atalanta preview: Sarri’s Atalanta
Maurizio Sarri has overseen Atalanta edging past Hapoel Tel-Aviv in the play-off round of the UEFA Europa Conference League this season as well as earning two victories with one defeat in their opening three matches in Serie A.
The Bergamasci did start with victories against Sassuolo and then Bologna before succumbing to a 2-1 defeat to Roma at Stadio Olimpico in a game that they did lead until the 89th minute in the capital city.
Cagliari preview: Steady Sardinians
Cagliari are expected to be involved in a relegation battle in Serie A once again but they have started the season steadily with two victories and a defeat in their opening three matches of the campaign.
The Sardinians come into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat of Lecce at the Unipol Demus last weekend, courtesy of a 29th minute winner scored by attacking midfielder Daniel Maldini.

Atalanta midfielder Gianluca Gaetano is missing through suspension for the hosts with defender Isak Hien and versatile forward Kamaldeen Sulemana both sidelined through injury.
