2024-25 Women's Champions League winners Arsenal begin their bid to reclaim the European crown and kickstart their season after a sluggish start to the Women's Super League campaign.
The Gunners, who have drawn their last two domestic matches, reached the semi-finals of this competition last season where their run was halted by eight-time winners OL Lyonnes, who prevailed 4-3 on aggregate in a memorable last-four tie.
HB Koge booked their Women's Champions League return with a hard-fought 2-1 aggregate victory over PSV in the third qualifying round, having beaten both Riga and Hearts in the previous round. This marks their first group stage / league participation since their debut in 2021-22.
The Danish side are top of the A-Liga standings at present, having claimed their fourth league title in 2025-26.
There is a considerable gulf in quality here. Arsenal head coach Renee Slegers has hinted that she could rest some of her regulars, but such is the impressive depth in the Gunners squad, they will be strong favourites no matter who Slegers fields.
We expect this one to be fairly one-sided, with HB Koge potentially taught a harsh lesson on Matchday 1.
