Lyon suffered extreme frustration in their quest for league phase football in the Champions League as they were beaten in the two-legged play-off round by Fenerbahce. But whilst they’ve sold players in the transfer window, the Ligue 1 side remains a strong team and have begun the season undefeated domestically.
