This tie remains delicately poised after Anderlecht and Hammarby shared a 1-1 draw in the first-leg of this UEFA Europa League second qualifying round tie. Danylo Sikan opened the scoring for Anderlecht after six minutes before Hammarby equalised late on via Ghanaian midfielder Frank Adjei.
Anderlecht have underperformed in the last few seasons but they finished fourth in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League as they seek to re-establish themselves, while Hammarby have managed to maintain a good level, despite losing manager Kim Hellberg to Middlesbrough in the Swedish Allsvenskan off season over the winter.
Hammarby have continued to play some good football but Anderlecht will still be expected to come out on top here, especially in Brussels.
