Algeria vs Uruguay prediction

Algeria come into this one on the back of backing up a recent CAF Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final loss to Nigeria by hammering Guatemala by seven goals to nil in a friendly at the Luigi Ferraris in Genoa the other day.

Marcelo Bielsa's Uruguayans endured something of a tough 2025 but the South Americans did manage to salvage a late 1-1 draw against England at Wembley Stadium on Friday night.

Uruguay have work to do but are generally strong. Algeria will fancy themselves to at least create a few chances and both teams scoring may well be a good bet for this one in Piedmont.

Algeria vs Uruguay tip: Both teams to score
